What about food?

Can I bring a plus 1?

Sadly no. We found our dream venue, but it has limited space, and unfortunately we can’t accommodate everyone we’d love to be there.

If you are unsure about who in your party has been invited, please reach out to us ASAP so we can clarify for you!

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Yes! Once you get to Charlton Hall you won’t have to travel again. Both the ceremony and reception are indoors, and accessible.

How do I know if I’m an all day or evening guest?

All our guests are all day guests! If you are only able to stay for the ceremony or reception, please let us know.

Will there be parking?

Yes! There is FREE parking at Charlton Hall and lots of parking at The Hogs Head - if you’re driving up, let us know so we can help you make arrangements.

What will the weather be like?

The wedding will be indoors, so you’ll be cosy, but Northumberland is generally COLD in Spring! Please make sure you bring a coat and warm clothes if you’re planning on exploring the area on the weekend.

Can I post pictures on social media?

Yes! We’d only ask that you don’t use your phone during the ceremony, and wait until 5pm to post any photos. Please tag your photos with #emiandtanith so we can keep track of all of your pictures! Our Insta handles are @wakinguptoseethesun and @lazarushearts if you want to tag us too!

When do I need to RSVP by?

We need your RSVP by December 2021 to finalise details with our vendors! If you’re not sure you’ll be able to respond by then, please let us know.

Is there a theme?

Sort of! We’re going for classic and colourful with a hint of Wes Anderson.

What time will the reception end?

Approximately midnight.

Where can we stay?

The Hogs Head Inn is the closest hotel to the venue, about a 10 minute drive away! There are also many lovely hotels and AirBnBs in the area - please reach out to us if you need advice on where to stay.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony starts at 2pm, so please aim to arrive for 1pm at the latest to allow you time to get comfortably seated.
